10 Tips to protect from Increasing Pollution in Delhi-2019

Post Diwali, Air Quality Index of India has come to severe category which is 500+level of PM where good quality index should be less than 50pm! Yes, it is that severe and please don’t take it lightly as it is severe! Though media dramatize everything in the society but this has to be taken seriously! Because every next person is facing breathing difficulty! Now, we are no experts here but we are going to talk basic science and common sense. Why pollution happens maximum in November and February?

Lets go basic! Warm air is light, and cool air is dense right! Ofcourse of the moisture content in the air! Now, in summers since air is light the pollutants with it all rises above troposphere level and in winter since air is dense the air settles at the bottom levels of atmosphere, but what happens when weather is transitioning? The pollutants and air is around us and there is no wind blowing too!! SO, we are not breathing air, we are breathing pollution!!!!So, this is what is happening in November and will ofcourse happen in the month of February!! But, as winter proceeds and wind blows weather would become amazing and pollution would settle down!💕

Top 10 Tips to prevent yourself from pollution!

1.Take shorter breaths

We are just going to talk common observations! Deep breaths increases oxygen level in the blood, and we feel fresher. But here we are breathing pollution, so don’t take that in! Please! Take shorter breaths!

2.Drink plenty of water

What is water-H2O! So, it has oxygen! And if air is lacking oxygen then get it from water! So, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!!!

3. Avoid running

Yup, of course! Firstly, dont workout! Neither indoor nor outdoor! Still obsessed, do indoor workout, but outdoor NO WAY!! There is no oxygen! Brain needs oxygen! You would collapse! So, please dont run at all! And not at lease early in the morning or end of the day! That’s when the pollution is maximum!

4.Do switch on Fans at home

As air moves, pollutants too move! So, keeping the fan switched on is a great thing! And also there so many mosquitoes!

5. Use Air Purifier for home

Many companies have built air purifiers, and they work like MAGIC! yup!! If you have elder people at home, children then get one! Kent one is awesome! Even Honeywell makes one! They purifies the air in instants! As told earlier, it is not at all sponsored! All first hand experiences!

6. Stay Indoor

Stay indoor as much as you can, and indoor also means avoid bicycles, scooters and bikes! You metro or any public transport! But try to keep yourself indoor !

7. Wear mask properly

Now, understand what mask does! It is no magic, but basics! Masks has filters in it that would filter out big air dust and pollutants particles. So, should you wear a mask? Yes!! Ofcourse! But what if suffocates! Then, remove it! Always stick to how your body is responding! If already there is less oxygen in the air, then mask isn’t a good choice! But almost all the times, mask would work! And yup, properly means not too tight, covers nostrils and definitely is hygienic because they too have expiry dates!

8.Eat jaggery/Gud

Now, if you ask what the only one thing to do! Then eat jaggery multiple times a day! And you are sorted! Yup! jaggery is an excellent natural cleansing agent that helps in flushing out toxins from your body. At any time, you feel uneasy have jaggery!

9. Drink Orange/Mausambi juice

Now, what science says is Vitamin C  lessens Air Pollution Effectsas  Antioxidants, such as vitamin C, protect the body from harmful molecules called free radicals that damage cells. Now whatever it is this works!

10.Don’t wear contact lenses or Ear phones

Now, please please follow this! Contact Lenses prevent entering oxygen to eyes and ear phones do the same thing for ears! And every part of our body needs oxygen to breathe!! So c’mon! There is no oxygen already, don’t risk your eyes or ears!! Love them! Its just a matter of few days!
